Hi can some one tell me where I can find the presets or the bundle for Ana 2 on OSX. I have run the preset install links and when I try to locate the presets I get directed back to the preset install links and not the extracted presets? Can anyone help please.

NKS compatibility library is now available for A.N.A 1 and A.N.A 2 below. Each library contains all factory presets in NKS format, detailed tagging and includes sound previews and artwork for the browser. Please be sure you get the correct library for your needs.

If you have ANA2 from Slate Digital you can add this library to access the 1400+ presets from the various expansions available from Slate Digital. Please ensure you have installed all of these libraries, if you load a preset and KK/Maschine crashes, it is likely you do not have the expansion installed. You also need the factory library from above to access the core factory sounds and to get the library and database files

All factory presets have been saved with detailed tagging, sound previews and database/image files for the Komplete/Maschine browser. Presets have detailed controller maps consisting of 20+ pages with most common access controls on the first pages and additional osc and FX controls on the later pages.

A useful function is the chord hold feature, which allows you to pre-program a chord of up to five notes, which is great for the aforementioned House chord stabs. There are several presets that illustrate this feature.

Aside from trying to deconstruct the various presets, if you need an introduction to the basics of ANA programming, Sonic Academy have a series of tutorial videos available on their web site. These are pretty much essential viewing, as ANA is not supplied with a written manual, but they are very informative and provide good demonstrations of what the synth can do.

Once created, these can be used as oscillators, which enormously expand the sonic spectrum of the ANA 2 Synthesizer plugin. You can have up to 3 multi-samples oscillators. This opens up the door for many new hybrids sounds not possible so far with ANA 2. Pad sounds accompanied by a piano, for example, or pair acoustic instruments such as guitars or strings with the wavetable oscillators.

We believe, with its array of controls, and massive 64 steps, you can creating mind-blowing arps right from the get-go. Reorder notes, add swing and gates or just open one of the factory presets to get started straight away.

I know it's wrong to judge a synth purely by it's presets, but a lot of them are just repeated, with subtle variations. It has some great bass patches, but not a great all-rounder, and I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. Its ok for 70% off during Black Friday 2019I'll try building some patches with it and see if it gets any better.A lot of space wasted that could've been used to make the arpeggiator much bigger. 2ff7e9595c
